PARTICIPANT'S COMMENTS
“It was important…to do the process with women…of a similar age…I'm grateful for the opportunity to get started with a journey that was 'stalled out'”
“The particular touch you bring to the weekend from who you are as women gives such a rich texture to this experience. I can't thank you enough. Thank you for your truth and kindness…I really appreciate the safe, nurturing space…you provide. You…have created a wonderful vehicle for helping women carve out their particular, transitional path. I loved the weekend...the trust in your guidance and holding the container. Such a pleasure to see good teachers teaching.”

“I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I found this to be a very different experience from most of the workshops I've attended. No 'bells and whistles', nothing flashy, just two very caring, present and grounded facilitators who created a safe space for...women who were ready to get to work on significant life issues. Impressive…The poetry, quotes, and music were moving, evocative and inspiring.”

HOPE'S STORY
Getting comfortable with the process
“The women in this group were intuitive, intelligent…thoughtful”
An ongoing discussion
“Dear Ruth and Karen,
Sharon and I survived the drive...and the hours passed fairly effortlessly with the ongoing discussion of our experience over the weekend.
I have had the benefit of the past 2 days off, to just be, with thoughts of the group, reviewing my notes, having treasured quiet time,…and time to gear up for the return to (work).
Learning together
In hindsight…my expectations were…to be validated and supported by women wrestling with similar questions about choices in mid-life. That was indeed my experience over the weekend. I am certainly not alone in this process. The women in this group were intuitive, intelligent…thoughtful. I know I had something to learn or take in from each and every one in the group.
“I do have an improved comfort level in the process, the not knowing”
A hope that I had, not necessarily an expectation, was that I would have some clarity on what next…I DO have an improved comfort level in the process, the not knowing.
(Most helpful were) hearing other women's experiences; hearing feedback, observations, insights from both of you.
Continuing the process
The 2 days flew by. It certainly left me hungry for more...more connection, more questions, more discussion, more feedback. I imagine I will seek out more opportunity for personal growth and reflection, more retreats or workshops…I will think about the women in the group and wonder how they are doing.
Thank you both so much.
I'll let you know what next takes form.”
